The Mallacoota Mudbrick Pavilion – the heart of the community.
\nBuilt with community labour out of warm natural materials the good old Muddie plays a central role in our community life. Guarded by our iconic Mallacoota Gum the Muddie is the venue for our social history. The friendly Mudbrick walls house weddings, wakes, birthdays, music concerts, community and professional theatrical productions, workshops, forums, dance, meetings, markets, feasts, classes and even exams that have launched our children into their future.
\nSo if you are thinking of holding any sort of an event The Muddie is the place for you. In the winter you can choose to heat your event with our atmospheric wood heater or use the convenience of our reverse cycle air conditioning. The Muddie is fitted out with solar panels to minimize our carbon footprint. The auditorium has a stage, curtains, a fully equipped PA (and someone to drive it for you), a pull down projection screen, chairs to seat a hundred and your choice of trestle or conventional tables \u2013 all at no extra cost. Our kitchen is fully fitted out. We have crockery and cutlery for over eighty. If you wish to sell alcohol we will help you organize the license. A children\u2019s playground is right outside the door to keep your kids happy.
\nThrough East Gippsland Shire we have a public liability insurance policy that will cover you for most things.
\nOnly holding a small meeting? No problem we have a small meeting room for you to use with coffee and tea facilities, heating, a white board, polycom facilities and AV equipment.
\nExtensive research has revealed that The Mallacoota Halls have the lowest hourly rates in the whole shire of East Gippsland. We believe that the facilities are for your benefit.
\nIf you plan to be a regular user then you can choose to become a member of our management team. Your community group directly contributes to decisions made about your buildings and grounds and you receive direct reports back through your representative. Our Community precinct is entirely managed by volunteers. All the fees you pay to use the facilities goes into upkeep and improving the services. No one gets paid. This is a community centre dedicated to you our community.
\nThinking of holding your wedding, or your group is contemplating a fund raiser and you don\u2019t know where to start? Well fear not, members of our committee have years of experience in event management of all kinds and will be only too happy to help.
\nOur committee is well connected to arts organization throughout our region, our state and our country, so if you have something arty in mind we will help you get in touch with the right people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mallacoota Main Hall is a sports facility marked out for Basketball, Netball, Hockey\/Soccer and Badminton. There is small kiosk and kitchen.  There are changing rooms and showers for men and women.
The Main Hall is a BIG space ideal for a trade expos and other exhibitions.

MALLACOOTA COMMUNITY CLUBROOMS<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

The Community Club Rooms are the latest additions to our suite of community buildings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They are  a venue for meetings and other community club related activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They contain fully fitted out dressing rooms for two teams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is a small office that can seat up to 10, The Board Room that can seat up to 20 and the Main Room that can seat up to 60.  There is a commercial  kitchen that is also available for hire in association with the other rooms or on its own.<\/p>\n\n\n
